36 Weeks
Sleep: It’s getting harder to find a comfortable position but really it isn’t that bad. I think staying up late watching the Olympics is the real reason I’m tired!
Best moment this week: My baby shower over the weekend…..and that my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law cleaned my entire house! I love a clean house so much. Oh, and my kitchen cabinets are now done! I’ll post photos next week.
Miss Anything? Not really.
Movement: Still lots of movement. Now I know that hard spot I keep feeling by my ribs is his head and not his butt!
Food cravings: Still craving lemonade and ice cream.
Belly Button in or out? I’ve decided belly buttons gross me out! Mine is flat right now.
Wedding rings on or off? On…most of the time.
Mood: I’m feeling very happy and blessed to have a healthy baby….but I’m still a little upset over him being breech.

Oh Julie! I am so sorry you are going through this. I will keep my fingers crossed he moves for you.

I know its hard to think about a section but a healthy happy baby is the only outcome that matters! Everything will work out for the best and you'll be holding your sweet little baby:) On another note, you look beautiful! Try to enjoy and savor this last little bit of pregnancy. Believe it or not you'll probably miss it one day:)

Praying for your little one to wiggle around!
You really do look absolutely wonderful!xo
-
You look great! I know it's not the way you planned, but soon you'll be holding a cute, chubby little baby and it won't matter HOW he got into the world. Good luck!

My girl was breech as well. I spent many many hours upside down trying to get her to turn. Good luck and well wishes to you. I know that feeling very well. I cried and cried too in the Doc's office the day we had to make the decision to do the C section. I had to mourn the birth experience that I wanted. It's totally normal to do that. I hope he turns for you, but if he doesn't feel free to email me if you need a confidant. megan.volnoff @ gmail.com

Had that same hard lump under my ribs with our son Nick, laid on my back with bottom up on as many pillows as I could, a couple of times a day, and he turned! Good exercises to try, but regardless, getting your son here safe and sound, is the goal. Praying he turns!

I am hoping all of that music and swimming puts your sweet baby in the right position! But you're right, in the end it will be fine and you'll have a healthy baby boy!
Have a lovely day 🙂
-
Oh Julie, I'm sure he will turn! It sounds like you are going to be making every effort to get your little guy to flip, my fingers are crossed for you 🙂
-
I'm sending baby flipping wishes your way!! 🙂 Hopefully the swimming and music helps!!

Hi there! I just wanted to encourage you to find a prenatal yoga instructor in your area. There are several yoga positions that you can practice to help baby turn naturally. You can also google "yoga + breech" and I'm sure you can find at least a few articles. Just because he's breech now doesn't mean there's no time for him to turn! Hang in there!
-
You look great. I hope your little guy changes position. I love looking at comparison pictures, there so fun
-
You still have time for him to turn. Im a NICU nurse so I go to alot of deliveries. If the baby is still breech at 40wks dont let a doctor let you delivery vaginal it is NOT safe. Ask for a C-section.
-
You look fabulous and I'll be praying for your little man to turn for you!
-
Sending some love and prayers your way that the little guy will turn for ya! You are glowing more and more each week 🙂

Sorry to hear baby boy is breech! Our childbirth teacher lady actually talked about breech babies at our last class and recommended this website (http://spinningbabies.com) I guess there's some different positions and things you can try to get baby to spin. She thought it was the greatest website ever…who knows though, right?
-
Sorry to hear baby R isn't cooperating with his position. Hopefully the swimming and music do the trick! I'll be praying for you. 🙂
-
Sorry you received that upsetting news this week! Wishing you the easiest, healthiest, and happiest delivery possible. Also – adorable outfit! Love the blue! 🙂
-
Julie, find a chiropractor that is certified in the webster technique. This is a great method to try and has a pretty good success rate.
-
Aw, I hope your little man decides to move south. It looks like a bunch of the commenters before me have some great tips. Sending positive thoughts your way!
-
Sorry you got less-than-awesome news at the doctor this week… hoping he flips himself ASAP!
-
Sorry to hear that Julie. You still have lots of time. Turn baby turn! I have heard spinning babies, acupuncture, and chiropractic are all options as well.
-
You look as cute as can be!! It won't be long now. So exciting!
-
You are so stinkin' cute and I love all these dresses! I definitely need to go shopping for cute maternity or just skirts that fit this growing belly!

Hey! So I am that anonymous follower who WAS due right around the same time you are. My little Princess arrived last Sunday, 8/5—4 weeks early, and was 4lb. 10oz! My water broke while I was sleeping!! So get ready! He may arrive sooner than later! 😉

You look SO good, girl! I'm sorry that you're experiencing all of that pain, but so glad that you were able to get a good Mother's Day in!
You look amazing, lady!!!! Hope you're able to get more sleep, soon.
So precious, you!! Home stretch is here! EEEEEEE! xx
Well your hair still looks good despite the pain. So there's that 😉
You look so cute! Sorry to hear about all the back and hip pain 🙁 I hope it gets a little better for you!
You look so great!! So sorry for all of the back pain you are experiencing. Are you doing any types of exercises or seeing any specialists (other than chiro) to keep this baby from flipping breech? Love all your thorough details throughout pregnancy. You were so helpful to me when I had a breech baby first go round. 22 weeks pregnant now with #2 so i'm curious 🙂
You look great!! Back pain over here too, it's painful for sure! We are almost there!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are absolutely stunning- you'd never know how rough of a time you've been having! I'm so sorry to hear about all the pain and the lack of sleep too = I'll say a little prayer that the last couple of weeks can be easier on you. Hang in there momma! 🙂
Oh I'm so sorry to hear you're having a lot of pain 🙁 You're almost there!!! Ugh and as if your sickness has to return… pregnancy is so rough sometimes. Hope baby comes soon!! XO
You're almost there!!! Who knows…maybe he or she will make an early appearance?! So exciting Julie!! xx
Oh o! I'm sorry to hear you are having so much pain! Not too much longer now though and that sweet little babe will be in your arms and you will have forgotten all about it! (That's probably why we have more kids!!) 🙂 XO
So cute! You make me miss being pregnant! Stick with the Chiro for back pain.. as much as it might not feel like it's fixing much now, I feel like it helped a lot with labor and afterwards..
I totally thought I had NO stretch marks, and my husband just didn't say a thing! Haha.. he didn't want to disappoint! Thankfully they were small. Good luck!!!
I'm so sorry you're dealing with so much pain:( I had that in my pregnancy with Caleb, and almost had to go on bed rest. It's awful! Hoping these next couple of weeks go smoothly and as pain free as possible for you, Mama! You are so close!!!
You have the cutest little basketball belly EVER!! Yay for birthday surprise in gender; it's the BEST! Also, keep holding out for your choice of name, I think after L&D your husby will be much more willing to let you have final name say, ha!
You are gorgeous Julie! So I didn't get stretch marks with my first pregnancy and wasnt expecting to the second time. Well one day I noticed a strange scratch on my belly and just thought the dog had got me with her nail and went about life. It wasnt until after giving birth and still having that strange mark that I realized it was a stretch mark! I'm thankful to announce it is now gone 😉
Ugh to the back and hip pain. I feel like I had it pretty good with my one and only pregnancy, but I had terrible lower back and hip pain. Miserable. I can't even imagine adding to that a toddler to chase around. I sure hope it gets and stays even a little bit better. Good thing you are almost done.
You look adorable! Total basketball belly! 🙂 Hopefully your back and hip pain get better!!!! I am dying to know what you're having!! And the name you pick!! 🙂
You look great Julie! I feel you on the pain! I went through it during my pregnancy & it's the worst ever! Hoping it continues to ease up & you start feeling better soon!
you look so beautiful! that bump is perfect! i can't wait to find out what you're having! I told matt that our next one I want to keep a surprise.
I need the fork first! lol. That is awful about getting sick again and feeling so terrible. I'm sorry!
I've been dealing with bloody noses again and the feeling like I'm going to pee and have a kid fall out because she's so low sensation as well. Crazy!!
Hang in there! You look so great!! I love the belly (you are all belly). So excited to find out boy or girl. Hurry up baby 🙂
Ouch on all the pain! On a positive note, you look absolutely GLOWING and gorgeous!

Oh gosh I'm so sorry to hear that these last few weeks have been so difficult for you. I remember the hip and back pain with zero fondness and so send you much much sympathy. You do look absolutely beautiful though, and its only just a few short weeks until you can hold that new little babe in your arms. I hope you get some relief from the pain soon xx
