28 Weeks

Photobucket
How far along? 28 weeks….we are officially in the 3rd trimester! Or was that last week? Every site has a different start date.
Maternity clothes? I’m still mixing maternity with some of my old stuff. Most non-maternity maxi dresses and long tops fit perfectly but I can’t wear any of my old pants. So far Target, Gap, Old Navy, and Motherhood Maternity have served me well. I discovered that our Macy’s sells Motherhood Maternity stuff….so I can avoid that tiny cramped store!
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: I’m sleeping alright these days…it is getting a little more difficult to change positions though!
Best moment this week:  Getting some projects started around the house. We are trying to maximize storage as well as baby proof.
Miss Anything? The only thing I really miss is sleeping on my stomach.
Movement: Still tons of movement. Especially during the night and after I’ve walked Wrigley.
Food cravings: Cheerios and raspberries for sure. And frozen yogurt.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No.
Gender: Baby boy.
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: My only symptom is a big belly! I sort of love being pregnant!
Belly Button in or out? In, but it’s getting more shallow.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: Picking out fabric for the bedding and curtains….and finally ordering some artwork for the nursery walls this week!

I actually loved being pregnant too and missed feeling each little one moving around in my tummy. But there are new feelings to look forward to as you gaze into your son's face and sit in amazement that you are holding your own little miracle!

Just stumbled across your blog! You're so darn cute with your little bump! 🙂 I love coming across pregnancy type blogs — especially when currently pregnant with my second! — but I love reading about others' pregnancy/baby journeys also 🙂

Can't wait to read more! Have a great day!

Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle with my children. Gentle with my family. Gentle with myself. Gentle with those who believe differently than I do. Couldn’t we all use a little more gentleness? After 8 years of raising babies and a crazy 2020 it’s what my mind, body, and soul needs. And my kids and family need it from me too. Have you chosen a word for 2021? If so, let me know what it is! (and thank you @bluegrassred for the word inspo! I heard her talk about it a few times on @pantsuitpolitics and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Exactly what I need for this year!)
