The Selection

The Selection

If you really knew me, you'd know I love a good young adult novel. When I love a book, I can't put it down. This was the case with The Selection by Kiera Cass. Oh. My. Word. I loved it so much! It's kind of like a royal version of The Bachelor set in a dystopian world. And I couldn't put it down. Actually, I don't think I did. Give me some ... Read More

Dear Working Mom….

Dear Working Mom….

I see you. I see you wake up when it's still dark and your house is quiet so that you can pack lunches, put on some make up, and do your hair. I see you wipe the tears out of your eyes when you drop your child off at daycare. He was extra clingy today and cried "no school!" over and over to you. And all you wanted to do was agree with him and ... Read More

32 Weeks

How far along? 32 weeks! Maternity clothes? Yep, basically everything is maternity these days.  Stretch marks? Nope, thank goodness. Sleep: I'm up 2-4 times each night to use the bathroom. And last night I had a late night meeting and didn't get to bed until 11...and then Hudson woke up crying at 3:30 and needed mommy. So ... Read More
